2023 Spring Fundraiser Live Music Event & Online Raffle

Our first ever live music fundraiser event and online raffle ran April 14 to May 14, 2023 and was a big success!

  • THE ONLINE RAFFLE IS NOW OVER – THANKS TO ALL WHO BOUGHT ENTRIES!! WE SOLD 1,127 TICKETS AND HAD 31 WINNERS!!

    Fantastic raffle prizes include rafting, ziplining, and fly fishing trips, gift certificates to area restaurants and stores, garden nursery trees, and more!  Online Raffle runs April 14 – May 14!

Mission: WATR is a grassroots organization working to improve your water quality and habitat of the Tuckasegee River Basin. The Tuckasegee River watershed supplies the drinking water and ecosystem foundation for Swain and Jackson Counties. What happens upstream, downstream, and all around the watershed impacts all of us directly.

Your support for WATR means support for community health, recreation, fishing, & the environment! By entering our online raffle and by joining our live music event, you will be helping us protect the health and vitality of the Tuckasegee River ecosystem, including the many communities that enjoy and rely on this river and its tributaries.

You’re Invited to a Live Music Fundraiser Event to Help Protect Our Watershed!

We’re throwing a big party and want you to join us! We’re rocking down the house in support of community stewardship of the Tuckasegee River Watershed at Innovation Brewing in Dillsboro, NC. Enjoy the music from four popular local bands:

David Cheatam – 2:00pm
Fuzzy Peppers – 3:30pm
Beansidhe – 5:00pm
Bird in Hand – 6:30pm

Event Date: April 29, 2023 from 2:00pm – 8:00pm
Event Tickets:  $5 donation – get your tickets and buy online raffle entries here.
Online Raffle: Be sure to enter our online raffle to win terrific prizes! Raffle runs April 14 – May 14.  Winners notified by email on May 16. You don’t need to be at the Live Music event to win.

Please donate to our WATR Online Raffle for our 2023 Spring Fundraiser. We are accepting donations right up until April 27th. The raffle will be online and tickets are available for purchase from April 14 through May 14. Winners will be selected randomly and notified via email on Tuesday May 16.
