We’re celebrating WATR’s past, present and future and want you to join us! Our event kicks off at 4:00 pm with a WATR presentation “Looking Back  & Moving Forward“, silent auction and catered dinner. The live music starts at 6:30pm from PMA Positive Mental Attitude.  Come support community stewardship and protection of the Tuckasegee River Watershed!     • 4:00-5:00pm: Annual Meeting & Celebrating WATR Presentation – Looking Back & Moving Forward. Recognizing retired Executive Director Ken Brown, welcoming new Executive Director Katie Price; membership votes for Officers for WATR’s Board of Directors.
    • 5:00pm-6:00pm Catered Dinner, served buffet style, plus trout holiday cookie decorating. Catered by Julia Hunt!
    • 4:30pm-6:30pm: Silent Auction
    • 6:30-8:00pm: Live Music by PMA Positive Mental Attitude!

Mission: WATR is a grassroots organization working to improve your water quality and habitat of the Tuckasegee River Basin. The Tuckasegee River watershed supplies the drinking water and ecosystem foundation for Swain and Jackson Counties. What happens upstream, downstream, and all around the watershed impacts all of us directly.
