Snorkeling the Tuckasegee River
Join WATR, MountainTrue, Mainspring Conservation Trust, and NC Wildlife Resources Commission to learn about the new Blue Ridge Snorkel Trail. We are excited to share a series of publicly accessible snorkel sites nestled in the mountain rivers of North Carolina. Immerse yourself in our local waterways. and discover a vibrant underwater world teeming with brilliantly colored fishes.
Snorkel with a biologist to discover the fish and other wildlife that call the Tuckasegee River home.
Bring a snorkel and a mask or swim goggles. A limited number of snorkels will be available to use. All youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
