Summer is still here– trees are green, flowers are blooming, and high temperatures are in the upper 80s– but we’re starting to plan for our fall events. As our recreational sampling season winds down, we’re scheduling school presentations, ordering seeds for spring planting, and planning some fall fun for our members and supporters.
If you love fall, and appreciate our rivers and streams, we invite you to join us at our fall social!
When: Saturday, October 3rd, from 3:00-6:30pm
Where: Darnell Farms
What: Fall fun with WATR. You ticket includes a hayride, access to the corn maze, a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and a dreamwhip. There will also be live music, a food truck, a raffle, and a streambank repair demonstration, as well as an opportunity to learn about WATR’s work, and an opportunity for members to vote in our board election.
Tickets: $30 for adults, $20 for kids 12 and under. Children 2 and under are free (with a $5 charge if they would like to pick a pumpkin). Proceeds benefit WATR.
